老师，从第一天上英语课开始，我就对英语没有感觉；我总是跟同学们说，干吗要学外国人这么恶心的东西；我们是中国人，把中国的文字学好，就已经不错了；所以一直以来，上英语课我都是相当排斥的。

每一次看见你抱着书本来的时候，我就对你超级不爽，我觉得你是一个从媚洋外的东西；我看不起你，觉得你不是一个好老师，你跟本就不爱国；所以，你上课的时候，我就在睡觉，我就是不听你的，看你把我怎么样。

Wherever you go, you will use it. While Chinese is only used in China and no one else USES it; I protested. Why should I study English when I'm not going abroad? You told me that in the future there will be many foreigners in China, and they will not be able to speak Chinese. Slowly, I seem to understand what? We also know that opening to the outside world is good for our country. Of course, what makes me understand the most is that if you want to enter the university and become a useful person to the country, you must learn English well, otherwise you can do nothing.

转眼间半年过去了，考英语的时候，我连看都不看，直接交了白卷；当你了解到我的情况以后，你把我叫到了你的办公室，耐心的教导我，为什么要学英语；你说英语是这个世界上最通用的语言，无论你到了什么地方，都会用到英语；而中文只是在中国可以用而也，在别的国家没有人用中文；我反抗说，我又不出国，干吗还要学英语；你告诉我说，将来中国会有很多的外国人，他们也不会中文，那么我们要跟世界接轨，就得学会他们懂的文字；慢慢的，我好像懂得了什么？也知道了对外开放，是对国家的好；当然最能让我明白的就是，想考取大学，想成为一个对国家有用的人，必须学好英语，不然你什么都做不成。

听君一席话，胜读百年书；我从那以后，不再排斥英语了，而且我慢慢的对英语产生了浓厚的兴趣；听着周恩来总理懂得十几个国家的语言，我振奋了，我觉得能学好一门语言，也是非常了不起的人；如果能像周总理一样，懂得那么多国家的语言，那是更加的高大上了；于是我每天钻在了英语课里，每天不是读就是背。
